About Tricolorul LMV

Sports Club Association Tricolorul L. M. V. Ploieşti was set up in 2007 by former volleyball players of the city Ploieşti. The aim of the association is to promote and develop sporting activities in Prahova County, in general, and, in particular, to bring the city of Ploieşti back in the first national division of volleyball, where it belongs.

Our club is affiliated with F. R. Volleyball (National Federation of Volleyball).

Wanting to avoid the disappearing of professional volleyball as sports branch in Ploieşti, together with the Volleyball Association of Prahova County we decided, in 2012, to form a team that will participate in the national championship of volleyball, Division 2 male.

Thus, by our own financial efforts, we managed to legitimate within our club players which will form the core team.

We want, in the same time, in accordance with the conditions and the financial support we will have, to create groups of children for lifelong learning this sport, thereby ensuring future generations of volleyball players in our city.

Since its foundation, our club represented with honor the city of Ploieşti in numerous international contests of volleyball old-boys (athletes over 35 years),  of which remember:
