Tricolorul LMV Ploiești added another player to its roster for the next season. The seventh player who signed this summer with Tricolorul LMV is Philipp Kroiss, from Enns, Austria.
Born on 02.03.1988 (1.82 m, 80 kg), Kroiss is playing libero, having over 100 matches for his national team.
Last season, Philipp Kroiss finished on the third place in the Belgium championship, with Lindemans Aalst, being close to get into CEV Cup semifinals, after a campaign that brought the team through the quarterfinals.

For the Austria’s National team, Philipp Kroiss is playing since 2007, as a junior.
Last month, was present at thw European Qualifications for the World Championships, finishing second in the standings of best receivers, with 59.37% perfect receptions, from 96 (4 matches played, 17 sets).
Austria finished fourth in Pool B, after The Netherlands, Slovakia and Greece, failing to advance.
Also, Kroiss is playing from last week in the World League, Group 3, hosting the second tournament, in Linz. The schedule is: Germany (today, 21:45 in Romania), Mexico (tomorrow, 21:45 in Romania), Spain (Sunday, 21:45 in Romania).
